Our property management company is seeking experienced candidates to interview for the position of Porter for our apartment community located in Austin, TX.
This position is full time and comes with our full benefits package, including but not limited to a great starting hourly rate and benefits including, but not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off, paid holidays, 401(k) program, Flexible Spending Accounts, and a fantastic work environment with a growing company.
This position earns an added income with our Bonus and Commission structure.
Qualifications:
Must have minimum 1-2 years of experience. Apartment industry Experience (Preferred).
Must have excellent organizational and time management skills.
Must be reliable, hardworking and motivated.
Maintenance knowledge (A PLUS)
Responsibilities:
- Clean and polish lighting fixture, marble surfaces, and trim.
- Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas.
- Clean and maintains the front walkways, sidewalks, decks, walkways, hallways, stairwells, lobby areas, patio areas, tennis and volleyball courts, pool area and chairs, and garages at all times.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum hallways, stairs and office space.
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
- Dust furniture and equipment.
- Polish metalwork.
- Wash walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
- Wash windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empty trash and garbage containers.
- Transport trash and waste to disposal area.
- Replenish bathroom supplies
- Replace light bulbs.
- Cut and trim grass, if required.
- Perform painting projects as assigned.
- Ensure all inventory items are in good working condition
- Pressure clean common areas as required.
- Use blower in common areas as needed.
